The Location:
Mount Tabor Retreat Centre Antigua
We have a stunning location perfectly suited for the workshops. The Retreat Centre is situated in a mountainous area, in John Hughes Village, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
There is a spectacular view across the valley, where one can catch a glimpse of the sea, in the distance. During the day; Tyrells church, All Saints village and other villages beyond are clear to be seen. At night there is a panoramic view of lights, stretching as far as the eye can see. The view is breath-taking and visitors from Antigua and abroad are spell-bound as they take in the ambiance and the natural beauty before them.
Travel
There are flights from most major cities to St John's Antigua. For those traveling from England there are direct flights from Manchester and Gatwick into St John's. Some flights arrive more than once each week, in the high season.
The airport is about a thirty minute drive from the Retreat Centre. It is possible to get a taxi or hire cars from the airport. During the week-days numerous buses come from West Bus Station, in St. John, as far as the Centre.
It is advisable to make contact with the centre before coming and someone will advise you regarding transport from the airport to the Retreat Centre.
Accommodation
We recommend staying at the Retreat Centre for the duration of a course. There are ten bedrooms in the main building. All rooms have two single beds with en suite shower, toilet and hand basin. The rooms are decorated in a simple style, yet comfortable and have a good view of the surrounding area.
The cost for accommodation is EC$100 per night. Lunch is included in the price of the workshop. Breakfast and dinner can either be pre-arranged with the host or prepared in the common kitchen area.

There are numerous beaches just a short drive away.
Schedule
Regular workshop schedule is from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm with a few evening classes that will be announced at the beginning of the workshop. During the 100-hour massage intensive workshop, there will be a day of integration on which no classes will be held where you will have time to explore and discover.
Registration will start on Day 1 at 10:00 am. Class will officially end on the last day by 4:00pm
Arrival and Departure
If you are traveling from abroad, we recommend arriving at least one day in advance to allow for acclimatization and departing at least one day after the workshop. Of course you are encouraged to spend as much additional time as you can to explore Antigua.
